Human Rights Protection Cell (HRPC) is a national-level non-profit organization dedicated to the protection, promotion, and awareness of human rights across India. Guided by our parent organization, Mitra Group, HRPC works to ensure that every citizen of India is aware of their fundamental rights and receives justice with dignity and equality.

What We Do

  1. Protection and Promotion of Human Rights

    • Safeguarding fundamental rights of every citizen.

    • Supporting justice for victims and marginalized communities.

    • Ensuring compliance with the Constitution of India and international human rights laws.

  2. Legal Aid and Counseling

    • Providing free legal assistance to those in need.

    • Supporting victims in human rights violation cases in court.

    • Offering grievance redressal and legal guidance.

  3. Awareness and Education

    • Educating citizens about their rights and duties.

    • Promoting human rights education in schools, colleges, and rural governance bodies.

    • Conducting awareness through social media, workshops, and public events.

  4. Promoting Social Justice and Equality

    • Fighting against discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, or economic status.

    • Protecting the rights of women, children, persons with disabilities, and backward classes.

    • Ensuring equal access to education, healthcare, and employment.

  5. Policy Advocacy and Research

    • Conducting research and publishing reports on human rights issues.

    • Recommending social reforms to the government.

    • Collaborating with other NGOs and institutions.

  6. Action Against Exploitation and Abuse

    • Running campaigns against child labor, human trafficking, domestic violence, and police brutality.

    • Rehabilitating and supporting victims.

    • Raising voices against injustice on national and international platforms.

  7. Protection of Environmental and Cultural Rights

    • Advocating for clean water, clean air, and a safe environment.

    • Preserving traditional and tribal cultural heritage.

    • Promoting sustainable development and environmental protection.

  8. International Cooperation and Engagement

    • Collaborating with the United Nations and other global institutions.

    • Applying international experience for reforms in India.

    • Representing India’s human rights concerns on global platforms.


Membership

Any Indian citizen with good conduct can become a member of HRPC by paying a ₹100 membership fee.
